The farm is situated in the north of Burgenland on the Parndorf Plain, one of the hottest and driest places in Austria. The area often suffers from extreme heat but irrigation is impossible.
Mr Depauly shared the following with us: 

• Seed treatment with AKRA SAAT-POWER 
• AKRA Kombi started 8 years ago
• Total N spread 108 kg/ha  

First AKRA foliar fertilising acc. to application advice with half of the recommended quantity on 22.06.2022. The increase in biomass (growth) reached extreme levels! Due to the rapid growth, he was worried that he would no longer be able to access the field with his machinery so he carried our the second foliar fertilising with AKRA products after eight days, on 30.6.2022,  acc. to application advice with the full recommended quantity of fertiliser. According to Mr Depauly, growth during the following two weeks was somewhat restrained and so less water was consumed. (growth was calmed down.)
