“We have been using AKRA N-bacteria (Azotobacter and Azo+ N-bacteria) as a fertiliser supplement together with AKRA foliar fertilisers (Blatt, Plus 9, MSB) on our winter wheat for 4 years now. With a double application of N-bacteria and foliar fertiliser, we were able to reduce our use of mineral nitrogen fertiliser by 50 kg to a usual fertiliser level of 150-180 kg/ha while still achieving equivalent yields (70 dt/ha on average) and an equivalent crude protein content (15.5-16%). After two years of tests, we now apply this process to around 300 hectares of e-wheat in the red area each year and we are very happy with the results.”
