AKRA DGC-Mix
Needs-oriented lime fertilisation
AKRA DGC is a specially formulated lime fertiliser that is individually mixed together based on the results of soil analyses. AKRA DGC-Mix, which acts in the long term and is finely ground, improves the water balance of fields and stabilises soils after the aggregates have been spread.
Advantages
AKRA DGC is made from raw materials of unique geological origin and is specifically (individually) mixed for the field that it is being applied to. The mix of high-quality dolomite, plaster and lime is put together based on the results of the fractional soil analysis. No waste products are used!
- The mix components have different ground sizes so that layers of product do not build up in the soil.
- Overall, AKRA DGC is finely ground and therefore highly reactive.
- Even small quantities have a big effect.

Effect
- Improves the water balance of the location
- IMMEDIATELY stabilises after spreading (erosion protection, improved infiltration)
- Works over a longer period of time as the mix components have different levels of solubility
- Provides calcium, magnesium and sulphur for plant nutrition
- Slowly and gently neutralises acids in the soil, therefore preventing a “shock” effect
- Ideally suited for highly-sensitive locations, e.g. fenlands and ploughed up grassland
- Does not result in a risk of scab in potato cultivation
- For farms that work with a lot of slurry, have perfect soil care measures
- Dissolves fixations (P, K)
- Optimises nitrogen use (mineral and farm fertiliser)
